Unhappy fungus on fish tail

So the fish is a blue reef chromis. He is my first fish in my 50g FOWLR. I got him on thursday and he has been acting very shy since then. Is that ok? Also, i have been feeding him fish meal stuff and he will put it in his mouh and spit it back out. What shold I do about that?

Anyways, I was looking at my new guy and it looks like he has a little bit of white on the tip of his tail. There is not much of it but it doesn't look good. How do I treat that and what am I suppose to do. I do not hav a QT tank ...

Any hep would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU

Without a QT, there isn't much you can do. Just make sure the fish gets a good diet, and don't buy any more fish for a while.
