Refug Mud w/metal
I just bought some Walt Smith refugium mud and put it in my refug a few days ago. Today I was messing around with my magnets and found that there is a high amount of metal shavings in this mud. This doesn't seem right to me. Is this normal/OK?

The "miracle" of refugium muds is that they're high in iron. It bonds phosphate and fertilizes macroalgae.
