Bringing a blasto back
I have a blasto head that has slowly deteriorated. The odd thing about it is that the blasto was doing absolutely perfect and there were 3 new ones starting to grow at its base. After is started sprouting new blastos the large one started to deteriorate.
My urchin knocked the frag over one night and when I turned it over the next morning, the frag wasn't doing well at all. It's been downhill from there. Any advice? My params are perfect and everything else in my tank is doing very well. I don't want to lose this frag. It was one of my favs in its prime... Tank is 40g, salinity is 1.025, temp is 74 day and night. I have a 150W de 14k halide with 4 blue and 4 white leds. I use that new/er Deltec hob skimmer, and I run an Aquaclear 200 for carbon since i have a lot of softies and lps in the tank. I tried target feeding it, but that didn't help. I have the frag placed at the bottom of the tank in lower flow and lighting. Any other thoughts??? Thanks in advance!

Well your temperature is pretty cold, I would slowly bring it up to 78 to 80.

It's been fine with the colder temp. I don't like a warm tank and I have seahorses. It was doing fine for a year at that temp so I don't think that is the problem.
