Breeding Damsels?

Can it be done in a 7 gallon tank? I want to have a go at it?

The breeders forum has a lot of information on breeding damsels. A lot depends on the species, but you'll need a reasonably large tank for the parents, and at least one separate tank for the larvae. It's a lot of work, and rather expensive.
