Mix Softies with SPS?

I have a mostly SPS tank, but I would like to add some colorful softies (leathers/mushrooms etc).

Will they get along or is this dangerous? I would place them atleast 4/5 inches apart, but will they engaged in chemical warfare? hehe

You might have issues with chemical warfare, more likely you'll be fine if the soft coral population is fairly low. Carbon will help with allelopathic toxins.

You could probably buy a hang on filter and run carbon to take out all the chemicals in the water from the fighting corals.

I've mixed all sorts of soft corals and stonies and not really had any problems.
