uv steriliser
i was thinking of getting this one for my tank.

Well, I usually tend to shy away from UV sterilizer questions but for a man with a tradition of brewing Fraoch Heather Ale I'll go out on a wee limb.
In my opinion the only real need for a UV unit is on multiple tanks fed from a common sump. A canister filter can with a micron filter can treat more water, far faster and at less expense than a UV unit. If you have money to burn then buy one but if the budget is tight I can find other accessories of better value.

cheers waterkeeper i run a canister filter on the tank so i will look into a micron filter on it.
budget is not limitless but the fish come first oh and we dont really brew anything fancy here just good old lager. oh and wife beater (stella artois) |
