wet/dry sump

I have an Oceanic box with a foam filter and bioballs. After readying the posts on bioballs I guess I need to remove mine. If I put in live rock do i need to raise my water level in the sump (20gal) to cover the rock?

Thanks for the help. I am lost!!!

it depends on where you put the rock. Are you gonna put it where the bioballs are now (kinda on the intake side) or in a different section? Cuz i think that in the other sections the water stays higher...but i may be wrong. Either way, i would keep the rock under the water.
