Lighting and filtration for a 270

How should I light my 270g tank? It is 7ft long and about 3ft high. I can't figure out the best way to light it. Also, I plan on using a 75g for a sump, I've got 2 big skimmers, and I will put about 300lbs of live rock in the tank. Will that be adequate for filtration?
