Bristleworm attacks??
I just came home and thought that my firefish was just "using mother nature" upon a closer look i saw it was a bristleworm on one side close to the rear of the firefish. has anyone seen this before or what the heck is happening? i thought bristleworms were kinda apart of the clean up crew.

If your 'bristleworm' has 4 tentacles on its head, it's a eunice worm. If no visible mouth and just bristles up and down its body it's only a bristleworm and harmless. My firefish manages to quarrel with one of my largest [10 inches] now and again and gets a faceful of bristles [they go away] but I never saw a bristleworm stuck TO the fish.

it looked just like a bristleworm no tentacles or anything, that i saw anywas. i've always had problems with my firefish coming up missing after haveing them for a while and that just freaked me out seeing that. maybe he was just cleaning him or something?? oh this worm was only about 1.5" to maybe 2.5" max.
