Good substrate for 29 gallon reef

I'm currently using arag-alive crushed coral and I have heard that crushed coral can be really bad. I'm at an opportunity now where I am switching quite a few things out in my tank, and was wondering if the CaribSea Aragamax Grand Bahama Reef Sand was any good? I can get a 30 lb bag for 22.99 from Marine Depot. I like the fact that it's got bigger shells in it.

CS0932 CaribSea Aragamax Oolitic Select Reef Sand 30 lbs * $22.99

CaribSea Aragamax Grand Bahama Reef Sand: 0.2-1.2mm majority grain size, but with additional bits of reef sand and small shells to recreate the Carribean reef "Rubble Zone". The larger bits of aragonite not only add color and texture, but allow burrowing organisms to buttress their tunnels and prevent collapse.

It's from MarineDepot.com.

What do you guys think? Is that good stuff? Will that make a deep enough bed in a 29 gallon?

Any other recommendations?

Thanks!

If you just want an inch or so of sand for looks, that product should be fine.
