Lighting on my 46
which is best? I am about to upgrade my lighting and i need some help. I can either go with a dual halide (250 w) and 4 65 watt pcs for actintics or should i go with t5. If t5 which fixture and how many bulbs. I have a 46 gallon bowfront (36 ") and I keep mostly lps with some zoos, softies, and a few sps.
Any advise is helpful and greatly appreciated. Thank you and can't wait for some results.

i think that the dual 250s with pcs is way to much. i have dual 150s on my 60 with 4 t5s and it is VERY VERY bright. I would go with dual 150s and supplements, however it is your reef so you can do whatever you think is the best.
