Salt Creep Eliminator

We are all victums of salt creep, on our skimmers, lighting, back of the tank, and furnature but how can we get rid of it safely, using cleaners that won't affect our Tank Inhabitants

I have it on some light fixtures that I would like to get rid of

AND on my Furnature, some Polished Cherry Wood! Yeah, My mom would kill me if she saw how much is behind the tank, so what can i use to get rid of it?

Sorry if I seemed curt with that but I just couldn't resist!A big factor in salt creep is surface agitation.By readjusting flow away from the surface you can minimize creep in your tank.By limiting splashing in your sump you minimze it there.Prevention always beats treatment!

But then again you're losing that precious surface agitation needed to create oxygen.. I heard of a remedy somewhere where you used like vinegar or something in a mix... not sure if it works though.

aside from a damp rag you can use a bit of vinegar on the rag if there is a ton

surface agitation is COMPLETELY unnecessary since you have the most effective aeration device known to man....a protein skimmer
