High flow areas accumilate algae?

My 2nd reef aquarium has been established for about 8 months and is doing very well.. This has been like this for as long as ive had the pump in my tank but where my MJ 1200 with high flow maximod hits the wall of my aquarium algae seem to grow there much faster than that of anywhere else.. Could this signal a phosphate problem??

temp- 79
alk-11 dkh
calcium- 375ppm
mg- 1300ppm i think??

weekly 10% water change with reef crystals reef salt..

feedings are zoo plankton every week then nori every week and pelets and flakes everyday usually with brine occasionaly and such

inhibitors of the tank are small yellow and blue hippo tang, two O. clowns, royal gramma, and green mandarin...

corals consist of a TON of anthelia (if anybody wants some i will part from it cheaply ) , assorted zoa's, millipora, montipora, frogspawn, assorted shrooms, candy cane, and thats about it for now..

Maybe i supplied tomuch info for this subjuect but i figure this makes it easier to be answered

Oh for equipment i have this

ASM G3
fuge
4x54 t5 with two actinic plusses and 2 10,000k bulbs, two mj 1200's for circulation (one modded one not) and thats the only things i would think would affect any algae related things

all corals seem to be thriving and spread fairly rapidly..

thanks

Thats weird. I have the exact opposite, where the MJmods hit the glass there is no algae.

Is it early signs of Bryopsis? The stuff started growing in my tank anywhere it wanted. I've been cooking all my live rock for 2 months over it.

That stuff will grow in the dark, high flow areas, basically anywhere it wants. I suspect my substrate and liverock were overloaded (had been in use for years in a lot of bad water in the past) and started releasing stuff into my water. Bryo went out of control. Many threads on it around here.

no it isnt that thankfully haha its more of a long stringy algae, i'd take a pic but my camera isnt working.. i think it might just be some phosphate problem but ill look into the bryopsis more just to make sure..

any more ideas??

thanks
