AGA / Oceanic 1" Bulk heads

Hello,
After 5 months I’m finally bringing up my Oceanic 180 RR tank. I went to install the overflows and found both boxes were open and someone stole the 1" bulk heads out of it. I have done several searches but cant seem to find this particular bulk head. I sent email to AGA and get no response from them. Imagine that! Anyway, I would like to use this style of bulk head if possible. I’ve attached a couple of pic’s. Any help would be appreciated!

I don't know where you can get the 'barbed style' you are looking for, but www.savko.com has the lightweight bulkheads that you'd be able to use to hard-plumb the system. Personally, I hate anything with barbs.

I just ordered some from Premiumaquatics.com, but they did not have the barbed end. I emailed them and asked if the one I ordered was the right one, and they responded the same day. You may want to ask if they also carry the barbed one. If not, I am sure they have a barbed end you can screw into the threaded end.

I also checked the local retailers from the AGA site (punch in your area code), and called them, and one retailer had them.

Good luck.

You can buy the regular bulkhead either slip or threaded, then buy a hose barb to fit the bulkhead. Its the same thing, but 2 peices instead of one.

HTH,

Jim
