turbo snails too big?
i have a 20g reef tank...the only selection of snails there was when i got my cleaning crew was trubo snails. I heard these are too bit for a 20g , is this true? what kind of snails should i get? how many?

If you only have one or 2 of them, then they are not too big.

my first group o turbo snails were TINY but they got big quick! but they were fun, my fav snails were the Nassurth sails (sp?)! in my old tank!

I prefer trochus snails the turbos can get pretty large and are kind of clumsy too.

i have a zebra turbo thats about 3" in dia.. they will get big. the lady that give mine to me had it in a 36g tank. i got to big for her tank, so she gave him to me. he is pretty much taking care of my 75g by himself. im always having to put corals back in place because of him LOL. no big deal though. i would recommend using Astraea snails, or some other smaller algae grazing snail in a tank the size of yours. heres a pic of my turbo.

I love the Zebra turbos. Have 6 in my 75 and I use 1 in my 20L. Hasn't been a problem so far.
