What is TDS?

What is TDS? I see it in some of the threads here. Also is there a good list of acrynms somewhere on this site or elsewhere? Seems to be many I do not know.

Total Dissolved Solids
Look on the home page on the left all the way at the bottom. There is a list of acronyms

Yes, there is a an acronym listing on the HOME page (bottom left side).

TDS is what you measure your RO or tap water to make sure its pure. 0 TDS being pure water.
