nitrate math - 90G fowlr has at least 100ppm

if i change 20g every 7 days will i be able to get them down ?
or
will they build back up during the 6 off days , and i'll get nowhere ?

The question here is how long did it take them to reach 100 ppm? If everything was OK and they suddenly rose it could be a major problem like a malfunctioning DSB or a death of something in the tank.

If the increase was gradual then I suggest doing five 25% water changes, doing the change every five days. That should lower them significantly.

tank is up 1 yr - slowly building up to this level - to be honest - i haven't done any water changes - only top offs

ohh - i have it now - it tells you how long it will take until you replace the old and bad water with new and good water -
for example - changing 20g in a 90 takes 16 weeks
changing 40g in the sasme 90g takes just 8 weeks
