placing filtration outside??

i am running out of space in my room and i was wondering if it was ok to have the equpiment outside in a protected shed. i would have my refuge,QT, auto top off tank and a saltwater mixed tank for when i do water changes. does anyone see a problem with this?? and it will probably be traveling through pvc piping so wut kind of pumps should be used and wut size pvc????

as long as its clean and heat doesnt affect it then it would be fine.

It depends on how much flow you want for what sized pumps and pvc..
