Will silly lightfoot crab eat shrimp?

I am worry about if my silly lightfoot crab will eat my peppermint shrimp? I have not seen the shrimp since I put it into the tank. I am just wondering if the crab might have killed it.

Most crabs are opportunistic. If there's nothing else to eat in the tank, then your sally may go after your shrimp. As long as you feed your tank regularly, then you sally should leave your shrimp alone.

And as minispider said, peppermint shrimp typically only come out at night.

I'ver heard Sally's are more passive then other crabs, but that's just what I've heard. I have many crabs in with my shrimp, and I've never had any problems at all, but that's just my experience.

So far so good. I don't think the sally's could catch them anyways. They seem pretty happy eating the algae off the cheato. They are the only crabs in my tanks.

Mine was a model citizen, but I've seen some horror stories on here.
