Deltec MCE300 or Aqua C w/ Mag 3

Deltec MCE300 or Aqua C w/ Mag 3
OK which of these skimmers would be best for my 75 gal? I am still trying to decide what new skimmer to go with. I appreciate everyones help. If you actually have either of these skimmers (esp the Deltec) please feel free to comment on likes and dislikes. Thanks!

The deltec will be much better than the aqua c. The aqua c is junk imo. Also the bermuda hot skimmer is suppose to be very nice as well.

I had the aqua c before the deltec and the deltec blows it out of the water. For a 75g, I would be looking at either the MCE600 or AP600 but I tend to overstock my tanks.

I've used an MCE600 and Aqua-C w/Mag3 on my 54g. Deltec's are solid performers, but pricey.

With the Aqua-C, I didn't like the huge Mag pump dangling in my tank. IMO it's unsightly and loud. As for it's performace, your milage may vary.

I realize the MCE 600 is a terrific skimmer, but I am more looking towards the MCE300. Does anyone have this skimmer or opinions of it?

How do you get it to restart? What size tank do you have it on, your 24? Do you think it would handle a 75?

I have to either blow or suck on the air valve for it to restart the pump. I have it on my 24g. I tried it on my new 65g with 100lbs of curing rocks inside of it and in 24 hrs it created an insane amount of skimmate, almost a full cup of black/dark brown nog. I would think it could handle a 75g with minimal load.
