Wet/ Dry Filter Conversion
I am needing some opinion on converting my wet/dry filter into a refugium. My plan is to take out the bio-balls then were the grid is that stops the bio-balls from dropping down place nylon window screen to keep the Florida pea gravel from going there. The gravel bed will be a 1 to 2 inches deep. I will then add some micro algae, LR rubble, snail and crabs in with the pea gravel as well. Would this be a good way to do it or not?
