How to run Carbon?

I see "run carbon" used alot here and was wondering
how, what, where etc.

I have a sump, protein skimmer etc.,

Newbie with so many questions, so little time.

I "run" my carbon in a separate Phosban reactor from Two Little Fishies 24/7.

You can use a Phosban Reactor as already suggested or you can put it in a bag and place it in a high flow area in the sump or main tank. You can also put a bag of it in a hang on type filter or even a canister filter. Lots of possibilities. I just piced up a second Phosban Reactor myself to put the carbon in but have been using a bag in my sump for years with good results.

I run mine it in a canister filter (Fluval 404). I had it kicking around from the FW days and put it to good use.

I run a small Aquaclear filter and run the carbon in there.
