If the tank is newly setup, it will pass on its own. If the tank is established, the only thing I've found to combat it is RO/DI water with 0 tds. Silicate is what feeds it. Find the source, kill the problem.

cerith snails are the only ones in my tank that actually eats it on the glass. All other snails just suck on it but the ceriths scrapes them off.
