Moving Tanks and house HELP!!!!

On Friday Morning my removals are going to start my move, I was just doing all the tasks that I have to do and adding times, this is what I have come up with so far,

Task Subject
Thu Trav - - Liv - Man - - 1.5 hours
Thu Day - - Receive new Tank - - 3 hours?
Thu Trav - - Man - Liv - - 1.5 Hours
Thu Ngt - - Remove Lights and Top from old - - 2 hours
Thu Ngt - - Remove Filtration from old - - 1 hour
Fri Day - - Remove 50% water from aquarium - - 1 hour
Fri Day - - Pack away fish, corals and sand - - 2 hours
Fri Day - - Removals Pack - - 2 hours
Fri Trav - - Liv - Man - - 1.5 hours
Fri Day - - Mix Salt - - 2 hours?
Fri Day - - Removals Unload - - 2 Hours
Fri Day - - Place Tank on Stand - - 1 hour
Fri Day - - Drill Holes In Aquarium Stand - - 1 hour
Fri Day - - Aquarium on Stand - - 0.5 Hours
Fri Day - - Fill Aquarium with water not sump level- - 1 Hour
Fri Day - - Add Fish and corals to Aquarium - - 2 Hours

I have a few problems due to being let down by both Tank manufacturer and Cabinet maker (Thu arrives Tank, Friday Stand) so I am having to fill my bath with make up water which I will only be able to mix on the day will this be a problem as I normally leave it for quite a few hours before adding, I really don't want to cycle this tank to the point of a crash

has anyone got any ideas to make this easier. Also, are these times going to be a problem it seems like a lot of time between tanks? The fish and corals will be transported in poly boxes and the rocks in old salt buckets

I am not sure how far you are moving, but I moved a 3.5 hr drive away 2 years ago, and found that taking all of the water, sand and rock (I know this is a pain) was the safest method to avoid re-cycle. I worked on the basis that I had 2 hrs to bring the tank down and 4 hrs for travel and 2 more for setup. It went very well and the only loss was an aggressive fish who took out his displeasure with the ove on a smaller one.

There is no way I can take all of the water as I do not have anything to put it in I would need to transport 150G and only have enough containers for the inhabitants, I tried to get containers but it was near impossible in the UK!

I know here stateside I was able to get 6-10 G buckets at the local home improvement store (Home depot or Lowes) perhaps they would let you order them online? The more water you take the less stress for the fish and critters.

Here they only have 5G readily available, and I will need nearly 30 of those for the move so I am having to make new water, I will get extra live rock on the day that is already cured to help with any problems. just looks like everything on the project is going to have to be done the haard way!
