a 4x24w tek light t5 fixture or a 150w sunpod halide fixture?

96w < 150w

That being said, the MH fixture is probably higher off the tank, so theres less transference. I dont think there'd really be any difference.

Teks suck though... buy an aquaactinics fixture if you want T5s.

On my tank I have MH and T-5.
If I run just T-5 my tank stays at 78 and the fans don't even kick on.
When I run MH, in the course of 8hrs my tank climbs to 80, and this is w/ fans on.
2 degrees isn't huge, but I'm trying to keep from running a chiller, so every little bit helps.
This is just my exp w/ my tank/fixture.

well the tank is a 26g bowfront, its 24" long and aquatinics doesn;t amke a fixture that short. the tank is 21" high and i plan to keep an lta along with monti caps, digitata and a green slimer, do you think that the 96w tek will be enough light?
