Metal H.L. bulb length

Hi,
Are all the New M.H. bulb lengths longer than they use to be?
I have added a 3 light to my reef but it seems all the new bulbs are longer than they use to be and I cant fit the longer bulb in.
Are any of them shorter? 175 watts?
Thanks,

They're different lengths depending on the manufacturer. I assume you're talking about single ended bulbs?

Yes . Se.
Do you know of any of the shorter ones that would work on a magnetic ballast? I know ushio are shorter but they changed them and they no longer work on my ballast.
Thank you ,
Frank
