T-5 or PC

I'm looking at lighting on a 75g for now but drfostersmith.com has the Nova Extreme T5 fixture on sale. I was gonna go with ahsupply's 4x55wt PC kit but the 2 fixtures would be the same price after everything. I know the nova will have individual reflectors coming out soon on them but I think the fixture will go off sale. I'm not looking to keep the high light corals but if I could get a better light system for the same money as PC's. Would it be worth it to get the T5.

I would rather not spend a ton on this fixture though since I'll try and go with MH's a year or 2 when I have more experience.

T5s are as good or better than MH! I had 250 watt MHs over my tank, and my new T5 unit is much better!
Three points on T5s you MUST get individual reflectors, you MUST get good bulbs and active cooling is a good thing. Try an aquactincs T5 light (the 5 bulb, 54 watt unit) it is http://diyreef.com/shop/product_info...roducts_id=465
or
http://www.aquariumspecialty.com/cat...roducts_id=586
with bulbs either one is a little more costly than the nova extreme, but will BLOW IT AWAY in terms of performance!!!!!
The nova extreme does not have indiv. reflectos and the bulbs are terrible. The above aquactinics unit will grow anything you want in your 75 gallon tank
