aiptasia control

ok...i have been in this hobby for three+ years now and never had a problem with aiptasia until now. a few weeks ago, i bought a LR from my LFS. little did I know a hitchhiker came with it . i kinda freak out when i first saw it but kept my cool. I zapped it with boiling hot ro/di water..problem solved?....wrong. I now see two more growing on different LR now. I don’t think the boiling water method did very well for me. what is the best way to control these pests? copperband....peppermint shrimp...joes juice...???? what has been your experience and what works the best?

100% control with peppermints, but evidently doesn't work for everyone. I think that aptasia are low on a peppermint's menu, so anything they can eat the will eat first. Personally, I'd pull the rocks if you only have a couple, cut off the parts with the aptasia on them, and place them back in the tank.
