Miracle Mud Eco System 60 Or Tunze Aquarium Cabinet Kit
Hi all
I am current running a Juwel Rio 240L tank with 25kg of fiji liverock and about 5 fish and cleaner shrimp i have a Redsea Prism protien skimmer deluxe, for filtration i am running 2 canister filters a fluval 304 and a Ehiem 2026, the Ehiem seems a lot better than the Fluval as the FLuval seems to get quite dirty easily. I have been looking into different types of filtration and have come accross 2 options, i dont want to get my tank drilled so i have been looking into the following : A TUNZE Aquarium cabinet kit which can be found here, these are apparently ideal for Juwel and undrilled tanks (according to Tunze advert in "Marine World" magazine) http://www.tunze.com/149.html?&L=1&u...-infoxunter004 its the compact 16 or the other option is to go for is the EcoSystem 60 http://www.ecosystemaquarium.com/html/hangonback.html now obviously they are quite different in price wuith the Tunze system coming in at about £550 and the Ecosystem at about £350, with the miracle mud system is that a complete filtration system i.e will i still need to run and canister filters etc and does the calupera algae just grow or do you have to buy that also ??? any input on either methods would be gratefully appreciated and feedback from anyone who actually owns either of these products. Cheers in advance |
