Help on new coral
So my friend was getting rid of a pink LPS coral and its attached to a rock. I dont know how to put it in my tank, do i glue it down or just put the whole rock in the tank or take it off the rock??

acclimate it and then just throw it in. i can't really tell what it is from the picture, but it looks like a colt coral.

Acclimate by slowly dripping or adding tank water to the bag for about an hour. Then just take the whole coral and rock out and place it into your tank. You can glue the rock into place, but I wouldn't recommend doing this in case you have to move it.

If you want to attach the rock the coral is growing on to some of your live rock you can use aquamend epoxy, you can find it at lowes or home depot in the glue department.
