I like them. I have used them for years. I do not have any other data than my corals look great.

I have one and will be buying my second next week. It has been very reliable, runs a little warm (don't they all). The tank is happy, so why change

I'm happy with my (2) 250w E ballasts. Like said above they get warm, but they do not get hot. *Hint Hint* I've owned Hamilton and those were much hotter compared to these. Use Reeflux or Coralvue bulbs to drive the most PAR out of them. Good Luck!

Um. I have 4 - 400w Coralvue ballasts. All are less than 2 years old.

One is just under 2 years, and the fans are acting like they are going to give up the ghost.

Two of the others are less than a year old (red, without fans), and one just went back for the second time.

The fourth is brand new, (new red design, now with a fan), and replaced another red one I sent back.
