Best lighting for 29g?

I have a 29g tank that is 30 long x 12 wide x 18 high and I was wondering what the best all around lighting for it would be. Right now I have 130w PC's and they are just not bright enough.

I'm interested in both MH and HO T5 mostly.

What is the best wattage for a MH on my tank? 150w or 250w? Can I run just an MH pendant, or will I need some kind of actinic suplementation?

If I run HO T5s, can I go with 4 or am I going to want 6 to be able to keep anything?

Also I hate canopys, so it will have to be some sort of pendant or fixture w/ legs.

I used a 175W 10K SE halide on a 29G and it worked great. I also used a cooling fan in the canopy. The halide was a huge improvement over the dual 65W PCs that I replaced. I would think a 150W DE would be a great choice also. Without the canopy that I used, either one of these should run cooler.
