Better skimmer than Tunze 9010 for 120G?
I am setting up a new 120G. This will be a mixed reef, with medium to heavy bioload. So far I am leaning towards getting the Tunze 9010 skimmer for about $330. The advantages as I can tell are:
- Good skimming - Very quiet - Small footprint - Low heat from pump The skimmer will be used in a sump. Are there better skimmers in the same price range? Or is this a pretty good choice? I could go a bit higher in price to get a better skimmer. Thanks. |

Im setting up a 120g with 40g sump, and I just got the octpus nw200. All I can say is wow is it big. It fit perfectly in the 30g sump I was going to use. I was looking at the 9010, and I hear its a really good skimmer. But I bought the DNW110 for my 55 and wow it worked great, and thats why I got the 200 for my new tank.
