Epoxy for gluing frags?
I am trying to place my zoas in my tank but I can't get the super glue to hold very good. I am gluing them under water so that might be the problem. I have only been able to get 1 frag glued to a rock and last night something knocked it off. I was wondering if this was easier to work with http://www.petsolutions.com/Aquastik...I-C-15-C-.aspx ? Is this a bad idea or should I just stick with the super glue.
thanks Dave |

I use super glue gel... it works underwater really well.
If that is not working for you.. then get a piece of rubble... and superglue the frag out of the tank.. then use epoxy to attach the rubble in the tank

I'd agree-I think the gel is the way to go. Put some on the frag out of the water and then push the frag onto the rock-hold it there for 15 seconds or so. You need to use a big glob of glue though-much more than you would think.

I am not very good at this I think I got more glue on my fingers then my frag lol. I will try again tomorrow I got one to stick. Its a lot harder on smaller frags.
