sand question

Hi i just put sand in my tank and its really cloudy should i keep the powerhead on or off and will the water clear up thx

you can just leave the powerheads on. it will clear up in a day or so.

Make sure your skimmer stays on. It sometimes takes a few days. After bacteria populate the sand particles you shouldn't have any more sand storms.

Run a good machanical filter and it will clear up in hours.
