Looks fine to me, but who am I? <- I'm thatguy and thatguy knows everything.

OK....anyway. That looks perfectly acceptable.

Just my opinion, do with it as you will.

110 pounds of liverock in a 55?

I think I have 35 in my 58. That thing has got to look like a wall.

You're on the light side. However "load" is a relative term directly dependent on experience, skill and equipment.

I haven't reccomended that in years. Its absolutely impossible to get good flow in a tank with that much rock. Too many dead spots. Check out the SPS forum... that tends to be the people who really know what theyre doing, and they seem to be using less and less rock.

IMO, once you go above a certain point, adding more rock just decreases your filtration capacity.

Skeeter, I think hes on the light side, personally. I've got a 58, and all my fish are comparable or bigger than his.

Quote:
four green chromis, one clown, one yellowtail damsel, one lawnmower blenny.
I have
1. Starry Blenny (similar to lawnmower)
2. 2 clowns (takes care of yellow tail damsel and his one clown)
3. Royal Gramma
4. Falco Hawk
5. Melanurus wrasse (5")
6. Ornatus wrasse (4")
7. Purple Tang (4")

I think I have more fish, but I havent been home in a couple days (work, etc), and I can't remember what they are. I keep mostly SPS.

If you want more fish, I'd up the flow, get a bigger skimmer, and take out some rock.

im pretty convinced that over crowding will occur before you'll hit your bioload. the fish will be unhappy before you get chemical problems.

in my 55 reef i got

2 perc clowns
4 pajama cardinals
1 yellow tang
1 lawnmower
1 snowflake eel
1 Tasmanian blue damsel

like mentioned above, overcrowding is a much more bigger problem, with proper filtration it is in reality very easy to keep my trates, trites, and ammon down. I got an ASM g2 on my 55g and a 15g fuge and thats it as far as filtration goes, other then LR, and 100lbs is plenty of biological filtration for you. My tank has been up and running for about 4 yrs now, softies, LPS and SPS.

You fish lists A'ok IMO

Load sound ok, but that's not much of a skimmer. Be extremely careful not to over feed.

didn't realize sps keepers are the only one who know what there doing but some others might only keep softies and lps, i have 160 lbs. in my 125 and it still could use some more but proper planning on aquascaping and proper cleaning crew never had issues with dead spots.
