Reef Tank over past 12 months and a few coral id's
Well i woudl first like to start off by getting some input on my tank progression and any input on aquascaping that i presently have....
This is right after cycling last june 06 ![]() This is when i got my LR, Buna and Kaelini, in septempter 06 ![]() When i got my Lights, Tek T5 4 bulb 216 watts, in October 06 ![]() This is present day tank, I wan tto rework the rock but it is a 55G so it is difficult ![]() ![]() And now Some coral Ids Please Both of them, the brown one and the green one? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() AND IF POSSIBLE THESE TWO ![]() |

lots to guess on
![]() 1) lower left is kind of mangy acro? then Turbinaria, Monti d, green Poci and Stylophora on rt 2) Acro 3) Monti like danae, but the the other one ![]() 4)zoos i'll name them "someone left the gas stove burner on" (those names are nuts) 5) stylophora and Anacropora

Hormi, the last one is ANacropora on the right. (the one with the spaced apart polyps and the growth tips shaped more like Monti d)
yeah, I see there's an Acropora to the left there too now.

Those zoas look like what people are calling "Fire & Ice" zoas. I have some very similar ones in my tank.

whoa! You can keep acropora under t5s? 216 watts seem too few to keep some of those corals. How are they doing?

T5's have great par readings and cf and peter is right, individual reflectors create a very powerful bulb.

the company is Sunlight ,and it is jsut a tek fixture, shoudl be like 280 on most online vendors, doesnt come with bubls but it has individual reflectors which is a must if you want acros

Nice looking Monti. I believe its a Montipora Palawenensis
BTW ( not the digiata one of course). Can you tell what color the polyps are between the nodules? They look purpleish to me.

thanks, yeah they are a dark blue, very nice colors and it grows very quicky i have only had it for about 3 weeks and have seen significant growth
