powerhead question
Hello folks ..
i have an issue .. no matter how much i clean my tank .. and skim everyday there always seems to be alot of detritus on my LR and LS i have to end up pulling out the rocks and individually cleaning them and its becoming a pain in the *** ...although my tank isnt big 25 gallon ...i hate doing that process .. i have one powerhead for a 30 gallon tank sitting in my tank .. it gets some stuff off from one side but nothing from the rest of the tank .. does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do .. maybe a second power head? |

normal in new tanks but will eventually subside. Use a turkey baster on the rocks and sand daily and clean any pre-filters after the water clears.

That's probably not enough, 2 of those would be better.

No set placement as each tank is different, some put one in each back corner pointing towards each other in the center. You want to try and create a random type of flow.

I wouldn't try it unless it was designed to be submerged as part of the Skilter.
