better Octopus skimmer? Recirc vs non-recirc
I'm wondering which skimmer is better for a heavy bioload. I'm putting this in sump on a 75 gallon tank.
Octopus DNW-110 Recirculating (rated for 125 gallons) or Octopus NW-150 Needle-Wheel (rated for 180 gallons) Please give experienced reasons with your responses. Thanks. |

I would imagine that the recirc would be better due to the fact that the water is being recirculated into the water creating more of an enviroment for the bubbles to grab more protein. With this more slug is pulled out creating better water quality and so forth.
Hope that helps Aaron |
