What is some cheap safe glue that I can buy at Lowes or Home Depot?

Super glue gel works for me. I like the Loctite brand because of the easy to use bottle it comes in.

If you are going to go through very much of it, you can save a bunch of money as well as have a better product than Loctite by buying a 200 gram tube of this stuff
http://www.bhigr.com/store/product.php?productid=279 I like the loctite dispensers for getting into tight spaces, but when you just need a glob, this stuff is way thicker and stronger than loctite.

walmart has 2-packs of gel for a dollar something. i like the small tubes that i can do a round of gluing and then toss it so no open SG tubes sitting around.
