after chemi clean skimmer going nuts

I just used chemi clean for 48 hours in my reef. I removed all carbon, chemi pure and turned off my skimmer. I did about a 30% water change today after treatment was complete and my skimmer is going crazy over skimming really light skimmate , almost like water instead of protein. Why is this happening ? Can I do anything about it ?

Just make sure you followed the directions to the tee and you'll be ok. The skimmers gonna go crazy for awhile then it should settle down and work normally.
