Advice needed

I want to start keeping sps corals. My lighting is vho. I was wondering what kind of sps corals would be good to start with, and would grow for me. I would be keeping them in upper third of my 90 gallon tank. Approximately 6-12 inches from light source.

I agree with dc_909. Start with one or two really nice specimins; if you're not discerning to start with, you'll end up wanting to sell them once you discover what the world of SPS has to offer.

What type of monti? Digitata? Cap? which one is easiest, and which one grows the fastest?

I started with a Monti Cap. Very easy to keep, imo, as long as your alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium are all good. Makes a dramatic statement in any tank. I believe digitata are equally as easy.

In regards to monti caps? I don't believe there would be an issue.

No prob. Here's a pic of mine under less intense lighting than you have. I can almost see it growing every day. Probably twice as big as this pic is a couple months old.
