Mushroom help again!

My mushrooms have been turning white for some reason. Still alive but just bleached out looking now. What can this be? I have a giant one and a bunch of little ones on a rock with my zoa's... They were brown. Someone told me to try putting it in a cave entrance but nothing changed. Still bleached looking. They appear to be healthy just white! Weird!.....Maybe I should just try shoe polish! lol

If they were brown then turned white chances are they got bleached out. This means they got to much light and were burned. If you lower them in your tank or put them in the shade then they might get their color back. If not then they might be to far gone......

well, you didn't say what kind of lighting you had, but i agree with lpabsolute. you should move them lower down in the tank, perhaps on the sand bed or under an overhang.

I did that already guys, nothing seems changed and it's been at least a month... Maybe they will just stay that way for now on? I have two shroom rocks one is a giant that I moved and the other is shareing the same rock with zoa's. So how do i move that one? The zoa's need the light. My lighting is PC and one 175 watt MH, centered in a 150 gallon...se.... Maybe move the MH up a bit? I worry about the zoa's though. I lost a colony due to lack of light.
