Tube snails taking over!
Ok i dont know if this is a bad thing but it would seem the tube snails in my tank are mutliplying and fairly quickly.. they dont seem to be causing a problem but then again are they?

What are tube snails? Can you describe them, or get a pic? Do you mean vermetid snails? They are no problem at all.

Vermetid snails can produce quickly and have been a nuisance to some people. They get in the plumbing and cover everything. Not to mention some people don't like the stringy snot they exude to feed with.

just google them ull find a pic cause my camera sucks lol but yeah how would i go about getting rid of them? Crush them? that seems like a temp solution

I think manual removal is the best option for vermetid gastopods. Crush the tube and they're pretty easy to kill

I agree. Tweezers and some elbow grease. They can quickly become a real pest.

yes ill agree.. theres nothign i hate more than grabbing a piece of hardware in my tank and feel the hard tube ***** my hand :S
