T-5 Aqualight "Coralife" bulb replacement question

I have a 48" T-5 Aqualight double linear strip made by "Coralife". It came with 2 x 28w 10k and actinic bulbs. Can I replace with T-5 HO bulbs of a higher wattage like 54watts actinincs? Or must it be the same wattage of 28watts? I would like this to be my supplemental actinic lighting to my MH's..

Any advise is much appreciated.

Help, Anybody...I've heard of overdriving bulbs, is that using higher rated bulbs than the rated ballast or vice versa?

You have to use the 28w bulbs. The ballast isn't strong enough to fire HO bulbs and you will have to wire up a proper ballast to fire them.
