a really good cheap tip for lights
if your having trouble with all the expenses for your tank like i was being 17 i came up with a great solution that honestly looks great but i went to home depot and bought 2 work clamp on spot lights and 2 300watt full spectrum bulbs, all in all it was about 20 dollars and looks great but i know it wont do the job forever but it lasted me about 2 months until i was able to build my custom top for my tank! but now one of the lights sits on my fuge! just passing on helpful tips!

That would be great if they were 10000k or higher. I am hoping they make a 100w spiral compact fluorescent screw in type bulb in the 1000k range.

with a spiral bulb are you talkin about one of the long one or like a normal bulb spiral? but if you get the long type it might stick out to far and make sure there is a top on your tank for safety reasons!

Yea, the only bad things about those bulbs is there around 3600k or 5500k and they will grow some mad algae! Not bad for a fuge though!
