Paintnig the back of a tank.

Do you paint the inside, or outside?

outside- wanna make sure the paint you choose is going to work properly. Krylon fussion is the recommendation I get the most and what I've used in the past.

I have a sheet of black plexi-glass on the back of mine. I've heard others use window tint as well.

Current Tank Info: 72gal glass bow front reef, mostly LPS with some SPS, tangs, anthias, blenny, paired percula clowns, gold headed sleeper goby, red fairy wrasse

Yes. Outside with double face tape. I went with that option in case I wanted to change the color to blue later on.

Walmart 99cent flat black spray,worked good for me.

Hmm....

I like the idea of being able to change the color....

But the ease of just painting the darn thing.......



Anyways, what colors have you all tried?

paint here too... easy enough to scrape off later but by the time you get rock in the tank, you dont usually see much of the back anyway
