Adding auto water top off system, Question???
Im adding an auto water top off system to my tank and i was wondering if i shoud use RO/DI water alone, or use RO/DI water with salt mix. If I should use a salt mix, what should the salinity be? Thanks

Thanks man..lol, I just wanted to be for sure. As the water evaporates from my tank the salinity increases. I wasnt sure if i should do straight water or a very low salinity? Thanks for the comment though!

When the water evaps the salt in the tank does not.
Therefor you should replace/topoff with fresh ro/di water Only when you do your water changes do you need to add salt |
