Picking A Skimmer--Please Help
We are setting up a 240 FOWLR with a 50 gallon sump. I am researching different skimmers and want a good skimmer that will handle the bioload. We aren't skared to spend the money, but don't want to go overboard if we don't have to.
thanks in advance for all your thoughts. I was looking into Octopus skimmers, but read something about them shipping with pumps that aren't as good now, is this true.

das ex3 OR Custom Orca (the three pump 12 inch diameter model) either work well and either can be purchased from protein-skimmer.com

Big difference between an 8" and 12" skimmer. I'll throw in the ATI BM250 as another option.
