Which UV Sterilizer??
I am considering adding a UV to a new 150 Reef tank. I would like to kill parasites in addition to the bacteria and algae. Any recommendations on quality brand to go with, and the best wattage?
Thanks! |

I just insalled an odessea 36w uv on my 125. It was quite a bit cheaper than other brands, only $100. It seems to be the same quality and specs as the others. I noticed a huge difference in the quality of life in my tank in just a few days. It works for me.

I bought a Aquamedic 18w for $250 two years ago, they don't make 18w bulbs anymore, just 15w and 25w

Sounds good, 18W would be as low as I would consider depending on the brand.

I like the Coralife Turbo Twists... they are easy to use and pretty effective too! OR you can go with one from Current USA, they seem to work pretty well too!
